The Joint Monitoring Committee of the ESF+ and ERDF 2021-2027 programmes is responsible for monitoring their implementation and is one of the main points of contact between the managing authority of the programmes and the relevant partnership representatives. It meets at least once a year and examines all issues affecting the progress of the ESF+ and ERDF Programmes towards achieving their objectives for the 2021-2027 programming period.
The Committee approves:

- the final performance report for ERDF and ESF+ supported programmes;
- the evaluation plan and any modifications;
- any proposals for changes to a programme made by the MA, including transfers between funds.
In addition, the Committee may make recommendations to the MA, including on measures to reduce the administrative burden on beneficiaries.
