Responsibilities and functions
The company's purpose is the management, disbursement of financial resources and contributions entrusted by the Autonomous Province of Trento, the acquisition of shareholdings, the procurement of financial resources useful for the realisation of public investments and economic development projects, as well as the implementation of any initiative useful for the optimisation of liquidity management activities within the provincial public finance system. The company also provides for the disbursement, on behalf of the Province, of financing, both in the form of capital grants and in the form of annual instalments, provided for by provincial legislation and included among investment expenditure, in favour of public entities, local authorities or their subsidiary companies, foundations in which the Province has a stake, and other entities related to provincial finance. The company may also advance to bodies and entities linked to provincial finance, the sums necessary to carry out interventions already financed by the Province, the Region, the State or the European Union, and also provide consultancy and assistance on financial matters in favour of the Province, of bodies and entities linked to provincial finance and of companies in which the Province and these bodies and entities have a stake.
