Sala della Filarmonica sold out this morning for the return of Dan Peterson, one of the iconic figures of Italian and international basketball, to the Trento Sports Festival. A special relationship between Daniel Lowell Peterson, known as Dan, American television commentator and basketball coach, and the Trento Festival of Sport, as he recalled at the beginning of his speech, articulating his classic "Sports and non-sports friends". Following the theme of the meeting 'Sport as a gymnasium of life', Dan Peterson told his story with an open heart from the first steps of his journey as a sportsman in Evanston, just north of Chicago where he was born in 1936. The common thread of his life has been his passion for sport and basketball.
