   The Trento Philharmonic Foundation's concert season resumes

   After the concerts in the castles of 'Musica con Vista' and the inauguration concert of the renovated hall, the 2025 concert season of the Fondazione Filarmonica Trento resumes, with unmissable appointments in which the notes of the world's best musicians and chamber ensembles will once again fill the hall in Via Verdi.
   The autumn proposal is concentrated and intense: eight evenings (from mid-October to mid-December) with some of the most fascinating presences on the international scene, designed for those who love to be surprised as much by the depth of interpretation as by the character of the programmes. Scheduled appointments include the Vienna Symphony Winds & Piano Duo Silver-Garburg (16.10), Fazil Say (28.10), the winner of the International Chopin Piano Competition (5.11), Kian Soltani & Benjamin Grosvenor (10.11), Alban Berg Ensemble Wien (18.11), Alexander Malofeev (30.11), Simply Quartet with piano (4.12) and Ensemble Lauschwerk (15.12).

   Memories and emotions with the legends of Cantù Basketball

   An afternoon dedicated to memory and passion for basketball was spent today in the courtyard of Palazzo Benvenuti, where the Trento Sports Festival hosted the 'Pallacanestro Cantù: gli imbattibili' (Cantù Basketball: the unbeatables) meeting, a tribute to the history of one of the most glorious teams in Italian and European basketball. On stage, Renzo Bariviera, Fabrizio Frates, Pierluigi Marzorati, Carlo Recalcati and Roberto Allievi, the current president of Cantù Basketball, retraced the stages of an extraordinary sporting adventure, made up of victories, values and strong bonds on the court and in life. The meeting was moderated by Massimo Oriani, journalist for Gazzetta dello Sport.

   Obiettivo Tricolore, the relay race that relaunches Paralympic sport

   Applause for Ghedina, greetings from the president of Federciclismo Dagnoni, the stories of Obiettivo 3 and those of athletes and sport without limits and barriers: there were many emotions in 'Obiettivo Tricolore', one of the events of the Trento Sports Festival, today in Piazza Duomo, during which the great athlete Alex Zanardi was also remembered.     Lots of smiles with the Olympic Wonder Relay

    The 'curmudgeonly', the 'tenacious', the 'tailor', the 'histrionic', as their technical director Marco Albarello defined them, made the audience of Trento's Sports Festival relive, at the Sala Filarmonica, one of the iconic days in the history of Italy. A sparkling and entertaining morning with a focus on the gold medal in the 4x10 mixed relay in cross-country skiing won on 19 February 2006 by four cross-country skiing phenomena at the Olympics at home, on the Pragelato slopes, in which champions Fulvio Valbusa, Pietro Piller Cottrer and Cristian Zorzi, with Giorgio Di Centa absent from the room with justification, wrote an indelible page for winter sports, second only to the gold medal in Lillehammer in 1994, but immense in significance.

    It-Alert, Thursday 16 October exercise on the hypothetical collapse of a dam

    On Thursday 16 October at 11 a.m., a test message of the national It-Alert public warning system is scheduled to be broadcast, as part of an exercise that will simulate the collapse of the Forte Buso dam (municipality of Predazzo). It is a test planned by the Department of Civil Protection, Forestry and Fauna of the Autonomous Province of Trento with the National Department of Civil Protection. The It-Alert message will reach the switched-on mobile phones with active connection present in the territories potentially affected by the flood wave hypothesised following the collapse of the Forte Buso dam. The text that will appear on the devices will be clearly recognisable as a simulation: "TEST TEST - This is an IT-Alert TEST MESSAGE. We are simulating the collapse of a dam in the area where you are. To find out what message you will receive in case of real danger and to fill in the questionnaire go to www.it-alert.gov.it - TEST TEST'.
