   The gender gap in the sports narrative

   There is still a lot of work to be done on gender equality in sport. The panel 'Sport Told: Women Athletes, Athletes and the Media' analysed the narrative of male and female sport, highlighting the many differences and imbalances. Not only are women less well paid than their male counterparts and find less space in the media at the time of their victories, but often the narrative focuses on aesthetics, clothing and other external factors that end up belittling their professionalism, making them childish, objectifying their bodies and so on.

   Maurizia Cacciatori, Olympic champion, a life dedicated to high-competition sport. She wore the jersey of the Italian national volleyball team for 12 years, with 228 appearances in the national team, winning titles and awards at international level. Today, she is a motivational speaker for companies. Raffaella Tavazza, CEO of Locauto Group since 2022, works every day with a team of professionals and 'good people', because 'good people make good players'. And that means having respect for others and acting out of team spirit to achieve a result, together. A 'locker room' always focused on the corporate goal, but also on harmonisation between individuals.

   Green jersey, comparison of winners

   Great cycling, between past and present, was staged at the Palazzo della Regione, with the Italian athletes who have won the green jersey at the Tour de France in their careers: Jonathan Milan, who won two stages at the Tour this year and was first in the points classification, Alessandro Petacchi, one of the greatest sprinters and green jersey at the Tour in 2010, and, in connection, Franco Bitossi, winner of the special points classification in 1968.    Hellas Verona, a Scudetto become legend

   On Sunday 12 May 1985, Hellas Verona won the first Scudetto in its history in Bergamo under Osvaldo Bagnoli. A legendary triumph for Verona, one of the few provincial clubs able to write its name in the roll of honour of the Italian championship. A feat recounted in the book 'Lo scudetto del Verona'. published by Solferino, at the centre of the meeting with the two authors, Paolo Condò, writer and journalist, and Adalberto Scemma, proposed today at the Trento Sports Festival in Piazza Duomo. Together with the two authors, footballer Domenico Volpati was also among the protagonists of that historic ride that became a legend for what is now the only Italian team not to have won the Scudetto.

    Capello and Floris: past and future on the bench, with Roma in the heart

    Memories and emotions with the legends of Cantù Basketball

On stage, Renzo Bariviera, Fabrizio Frates, Pierluigi Marzorati, Carlo Recalcati and Roberto Allievi, the current president of Cantù Basketball, retraced the stages of an extraordinary sporting adventure, made up of victories, values and strong bonds on the court and in life.
