   Euregio calendar, an exhibition for the 10th anniversary and the new 2026 edition

   The Euregio Calendar 2026, now in its tenth edition, is on its way. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, in addition to the free distribution of the wall or desk calendar with images from all Euregio territories Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino, for the first time a travelling exhibition with the covers of all editions printed to date will be offered.
   From 26 October, it will be possible to visit the exhibition in the capitals of the three Euregio territories, Innsbruck, Bolzano and Trento, as well as in the municipalities of origin of the cover photographers.
   The day before, Saturday 25 October, two official events will take place in Innsbruck. The highlight will be the presentation of the calendar with the Euregio President and Tyrol Captain Anton Mattle, which will take place from 5.30 p.m. in the 'Paris' room of the Tyrolean State House, Eduard-Wallnöfer 3. The photographers of the ten covers and the 2026 calendar will be present. From 4 p.m., on the other hand, the presentation of the travelling exhibition will take place, also in the 'Paris' Palace of the Land of Tyrol, in front of the Georgskapelle.
   Media representatives are cordially invited to the two events, in German and Italian. No press accreditation is required.

    Civil Defence and University of Trento, flood barriers at Buc to protect knowledge

    The Central University Library (Buc) in Trento has been transformed into a 'test field' for flood safety. This morning, as part of the Trentino Civil Protection Week, 550 metres of flood barriers, both rigid and inflatable, were placed around the building. The exercise - promoted by the Mountain Basins Service of the Autonomous Province of Trento and the University of Trento - represented a training and awareness-raising moment dedicated to students and citizens, with the aim of providing a first-hand knowledge of the actions planned in the event of an emergency.

    Sport and cheering: an initiative to promote correct attitudes presented at Coni

    'TiFare bene helps Sport' is the title of the video presented today at the headquarters of CONI, Trento Committee. It is a project that aims to promote the positive value of cheering, as an important component of sport.
    Trento CONI President Paola Mora explained the genesis of the initiative, in which CONI and some Federations are involved. The idea, she said, was to produce a video that was appealing and could reach a large number of people. Cheering, he added, is energy, enthusiasm, but it is also a vehicle of values. President Mora explained that in making the video, an attempt was made to combine the cheering of top-level sport with that of youth and amateur sport. The Federations that play in the top category of their championships were involved, she said, with professional and youth athletes, as well as an athlete for each Federation in Trentino, so as to convey the message that the support reserved for sport is unique.
    Provincial Councillor for Sport Mattia Gottardi also spoke at the presentation. 'A worthy initiative,' said the councillor, 'because education on correct cheering reveals its importance every time there is a negative episode. Correctly directing the adrenalin that cheering embodies is therefore right and important. I would also like to thank the athletes who made themselves available to send out an important message, bearing in mind that champions are the object of emulation by many fans and sportsmen and women'.

    Civil Defence, tomorrow the presentation of the Citadel

    Tomorrow, Thursday 16 October at 10 a.m., the Operations Room for flood services on the first floor of the Civil Protection, Forestry and Fauna Department in via Vannetti 41 in Trento will host the press conference for the presentation of the Civil Protection Citadel (18 and 19 October at the Parco delle Albere). Inside the Citadel will be exceptionally exhibited some elements of particular value, symbolising the strong link between the Civil Protection System and the 2026 Games. The novelties will be illustrated to journalists during the press conference. The Citadel promises to be a place of encounter and discovery, but also a preview of what we will experience in 2026 in Val di Fiemme and all of Trentino.
