The memorandum of understanding between the Autonomous Province of Trento and the confederal and trade unions on the civil service contract was signed. The protocol reaffirms the commitment of the PAT through the amendment presented to the Budget 2022-2024 to allocate the resources for the renewal of the civil service contract 2019-2021 and the contractual holiday pay for the three-year period 2022-2024.
With regard to the arrears for the three-year period 2019-2021, the document commits the Council to find the relevant resources in the 2022 Budget adjustment or, if this is not financially compatible, in the 2023 financial manoeuvre.
According to the trade unions, 'With the signing of this agreement, we are convinced that the 2020 protocol will finally be respected.
With the signing of the protocol, the strike proclaimed for 16 December was lifted.
