With a measure proposed by the Councillor for Transport Mattia Gottardi, the Provincial Council, at its last meeting held on 23 December, granted Trentino Trasporti funding of 2,480,000 euro (from Fsc 2014-2020 Po Infrastrutture- Axis F resources), for the purchase of ten long buses, five of which are diesel and five methane-powered. The contribution was foreseen in the Sectoral Planning Document. "We want," emphasises Councillor Gottardi, "an increasingly efficient and sustainable public transport system because we believe that this is also how we can contribute to its success with users. That is why we continue to invest in this sector'.
