The intervention is aimed at the purchase of 9 electric buses and the related recharging infrastructure. The call for tenders published by Trentino Trasporti envisages, through the supply of the new vehicles, the creation of a suburban line Trento - Lavis - Zambana.On 11 July 2022, the Board of Directors of Trentino Trasporti decided the provisional award of the contract for the supply of 9 electric buses and related charging infrastructure that will enter into service on the route between Trento, Lavis and Zambana to the grouping of Evobus Italia S.p.A. and Enelx Italia S.r.L. The contract is expected to be signed by September 2022 and the vehicles will be supplied in the following 400 days. The call for tenders provided for two lots, both financed with PNRR funds: 1. the first lot of €7,514,669.00 including Safety Charges (OdS), which was awarded, for 6 12-metre and 3 18-metre buses with relative recharging infrastructure in the depot and at the terminus;
2. the second lot of €4,717,406.00 (including the SO), subject to possible option with negotiation, for 7 electric 12-metre buses with recharging infrastructure at the terminus. The second lot will be the subject of negotiation with the successful bidder, once the funds (defined by Ministerial Decree 134/2022 in accordance with measure M2C2- 4.4.1 of the PNRR) have been confirmed following an agreement between the company, the Municipality of Trento (recipient of the funds) and the Autonomous Province of Trento.
