Description
The age groups involved are 12-18 years and 18-24 years.
On a national level, the aim is to reduce the school drop-out rate to 10.2 per cent (EU average 2019) by 2026. The provincial average in 2020 was 8.8%, while according to the 2024 data of the Cgia di Mestre Study Centre report, in Trentino 7.3% of students drop out (for an absolute figure of 3,000).
The distribution of the funds allocated to the institutes of the Province of Trento was based on objective indicators linked to the risk of dropping out in order to implement actions aimed at promoting educational success and social inclusion, withguidance programmes and initiatives (also for families), mentoring , training, motivation and accompaniment aimed at students at risk of dropping out.
