Today, during the meeting that the Provincial Council held in Lona Lases, there was also talk of the problem raised by a local newspaper, linked to the transfer to another location of a free-choice paediatrician who last year guaranteed the service in Cembra Lisignago and Altavalle. The Councillor for Health, Social Policies, Disability and Family Stefania Segnana explained how the administration's attention on this issue is, as always, high: 'Currently in Valle di Cembra - were her words - there are two paediatricians: one guarantees the service on three outpatient clinics, in Segonzano, Albiano and Lavis and has 75 places available; the other on two locations, the main one in Giovo and the secondary one in Cembra Lisignago where he is present one day a week; the availability of the latter professional is 279 places. Having collected the requests of the territory today, the issue will be brought to the attention of the provincial committee of paediatricians of free choice and of the two professionals," concluded the councillor, "to verify the possibility of opening a branch in the municipality of Altavalle, also in view of the provincial agreement that provides, in areas where there are more than 40 patients aged between 0 and 6 years, the possibility of activating the service at least once every 15 days.
