Because sport is everyone's heritage and invests all sectors, from school to culture, from health to voluntary work. The event, organised by the Province, was presented by Silvia Vaia and Zoran Filicic. It was an opportunity for students to get to know the Trentino champions and at the same time cast their gaze towards the future and in particular the great appointment with the Milan-Cortina Olympics scheduled for 2026.
The President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, welcoming all those present, emphasised that "today is an important moment as it allows us to share the experiences and important stories of champions who have made the sporting history of Trentino. Sport helps us to understand the values of life, of being together, of the meaning of reaching a goal together, of sharing the fatigue, the efforts, the need to strive to reach a goal. Trentino is a territory of excellence for sport, and this is also why we are here today, not only to tell the story of Trentino sport, but also to present the challenge of 2026 and the next Olympics in Milan Cortina'. President Malagò, in thanking all those present, recalled how 'Trentino has a history of success, both for summer and winter sports. Everything starts from what has been sown over time, from investments in facilities to the deep-rooted presence of sports associations on the territory. Thanks to the dialogue with the provincial institutions, the requests of the sports world that I represent always find a response'.
