"It is not easy to do business far from infrastructural centres, but this company, which is so important for the economic and social fabric of the Valley, has now reached the status of a medium-large industry: we need realities like this, which have their roots in the territory, to continue to remain in their locations, generating induced activities and guaranteeing employment and growth possibilities even in areas considered peripheral. It is an added value for our Trentino to be able to offer young people an important prospect for their future'. The President of the Autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti thus commented on his visit, which took place a few days ago, to the FAE Group in Fondo, in Val di Non.
Accompanied by board chairman Diego Scanzoni, together with board members Alessandra Pilati, Paolo Toniolatti and Paolo Berti, sales and marketing director Davide Baratta, and the company's technical and financial managers, the president was able to get a close look at the company and visit the logistics, administration and production areas. The mayor of Borgo d'Anaunia, Daniele Graziadei, was also present.
With a consolidated turnover that is expected to reach over 180 million euros in 2022, FAE is considered one of the best engineering companies in Trentino and deals with the study, design and production of equipment and tracked vehicles for forestry, environmental and construction works.
Machinery that, as President Fugatti recalled, was also in action in the valuable restoration work in the areas devastated by storm Vaia.
FAE's headquarters are located in Val di Non, with production sites in Fondo and Sarnonico, and other Italian sites in Colle Isarco in Alto Adige and Gambellara, in the province of Vicenza; there are 6 sales branches around the world: in North America, Europe and Australia.
