The Province will finance all 236 applications for compensation, sent by Trentino olive growers to the Agricultural Service as part of a special call published to support the sector, in light of the significant production losses in 2021. Last year, in fact, the average harvest had been reduced to just over 12 per cent compared to previous years. For this reason, the Provincial Council, at the proposal of Councillor Giulia Zanotelli, has supplemented the fund allocated in mid-February, bringing its total value to 350,000 euro.
