'The provincial administration intends to enhance the value of the volunteer associations that operate in the province, ensuring the valuable health transport service in favour of the Trentino community and possibly improving it further. The objective is to define a solution that is as shared as possible with the various realities that you represent, so that the associations in our territory continue to play a leading role with their volunteers for the emergency and scheduled service'. These were the words of the provincial councillor for Health, Stefania Segnana, who spoke during the meeting scheduled to define some economic and organisational aspects, following the suspension of the comparative procedure established by the executive at the last council meeting. The councillor - flanked by general manager Giancarlo Ruscitti, health policy service manager Andrea Maria Anselmo, and Apss health director Giuliano Mariotti - also recalled how the province had established an increase in hourly reimbursements in order to support the associations that, over the past two years, have had to face an increase in expenses due to the anti-Covid procedures and have suffered a physiological decrease in volunteers.
