   Coronavirus, from the bulletin of Tuesday, 26 July 2022

   Coronavirus: today's report from the Provincial Health Services Agency reports no deaths. There are 755 new cases. Of these, 11 were detected at the molecular level (out of 257 tests carried out) and 744 at the antigenic level (out of 3610 tests carried out). The molecular then confirmed 4 positives intercepted in recent days by rapid tests. The number of hospitalised patients is 89, 3 of whom are in intensive care. Yesterday there were 11 new admissions and 17 discharges.

   Bone marrow donation: 10,000 potential donors reached

   A great achievement for the provincial registry of bone marrow donors: in Trentino there are now 10,000 potential donors. The typing of possible donors (the collection of genetic data essential for transplantation) has been carried out by the HLA laboratory of the Transfusion Service of the Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento, with the valuable collaboration of the Bone Marrow Donor Association (Admo). This work began in 1992 and has been successfully continued.

   School transport awarded to CTA - Consorzio Autonoleggiatori Trentini

    Bonus covid also for RSA staff and affiliated facilities

    With an amendment presented this morning by the provincial councillor for health, the provincial government of Trento formalised the decision to pay a bonus also to the staff (health and social-sanitary) employed at RSAs and at private hospital facilities affiliated with APSS. In the case of private facilities, the provincial health service will share 50% of the cost.
    As the councillor explained, a requirement of about EUR 3 million is calculated for a measure that takes into account the extraordinary burden that fell on these professionals during the most difficult periods of the pandemic. The administration would like to thank them once again for their tenacity and dedication to their work.

The molecular then confirmed 2 positives intercepted in recent days by rapid tests. The number of hospitalised patients is 95, 3 of whom are in intensive care. Yesterday, 7 new admissions and 6 discharges were recorded.

    In light of the MeteoTrentino forecasts, the Civil Protection has issued a yellow alert, starting this afternoon and lasting until 8 a.m. on Wednesday 27 July. Infiltrations of cooler air at altitude are expected, which will favour the development of locally intense thunderstorms. Rainfall is likely to be more widespread and strong in the evening today and will be almost stationary or slowly moving eastwards. Locally, strong wind gusts, heavy precipitation in a short time, frequent lightning and hailstorms will be possible.
