Prevention at the centre, to enable the population to stay healthy. Betting on this principle is the new three-year degree course in Health Care, for which the 2022/2023 academic year opened this morning at the University Health Professions Campus. This innovative university course, promoted in cooperation with the Universities of Verona and Trento, has 25 students enrolled (96 had participated in the selection process) and includes an important apprenticeship part in the course of studies, enabling young people to deal with the world of work right from the start. "The launch of this new degree course confirms the administration's commitment to continue investing in training, focusing on a professional profile, that of the health care assistant, for which there is an important need. We believe, in fact, that in the provincial health system it is fundamental to advance the themes of prevention and health promotion, to which health care assistants are witnesses in their daily work,' were the words of the provincial councillor for health, Stefania Segnana, who spoke this morning to wish the students a fruitful course of study, which will lead them to work in the service of the local community. The vast majority of those enrolled reside in Trentino and the hope is that on graduation they will be able to enter service within the local health districts. Alongside Councillor Segnana, the Director General of the Provincial Health Services Agency Antonio Ferro and the Director of the Prevention Department Maria Grazia Zuccali were present, among others.
