From 22 to 25 June in Trentino the Italian Road Cycling Championships will be staged between Comano Terme, the logistical and organisational centre of the event, Garda Trentino, Giudicarie Esteriori and Valle dei Laghi. Up for grabs are 9 titles in 4 days of competition between women's and men's Elite and time trials, with Filippo the eagerly awaited protagonist.
On Wednesday 14 June in Trento, at the headquarters of Trentino Marketing, the Italian Championships of Comano Terme presented the themes of the event and the programme of the event, which will start on Thursday 22 June in Sarche with the time trial races reserved for the Allievi, Juniores, U23 Men and Elite Men. On Friday, 23 June, the time trial calendar will conclude in Sarche with the Women Elite race. Saturday 24 June is instead scheduled for the Men Elite time trial with start and finish in Comano Terme. Closing on Sunday 25 June will be the Elite Women's road race, again with start and finish in Comano Terme.
The presentation, shared with the other Italian Championships organised in Trentino, that of MTB Marathon scheduled on 29 July at Telve, in Valsugana, was attended, among others, by the Councillor for Tourism and Sport of the Autonomous Province of Trento Roberto Failoni, the President and CEO of Trentino Marketing, respectively Gianni Battaiola and Maurizio Rossini, the President of APT Garda Dolomiti Silvio Rigatti, the President of the Italian Cycling Federation Cordiano Dagnoni, the President of CONI Trento Paola Mora, the President of FCI Trento Giovannina Collanega, the Mayor of the Municipality of Bleggio Superiore Flavio Riccadonna, the Director of Terme di Comano Alessandro Bazzanella, the Director of APT Valsugana Stefano Ravelli, the Mayor of the Municipality of Telve Matteo Degaudenz, as well as the leaders of the organising committees, the President of GS Alto Garda Giacomo Santini and the General Manager Maurizio Evangelista for the Italian Road Championships in Comano Terme and Enrico D'Aquilio for the Italian MTB Marathon Championships in Valsugana.
