   Tione, a golden jackal run over

   A specimen of golden jackal died last night following its investment along the provincial road 237, in the section between the Ragoli bridge and the village of Saone, in the municipality of Tione di Trento. Initial investigations established that it was an adult male. Recovered by Trentino Forestry Corps personnel, the canine carcass will be handed over to the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of the Venezie.

   Vocational Education and Training, extraordinary procedure for access to the Annual State Examination Course

   Vocational Education and Training: at the proposal of Education Councillor Mirko Bisesti, the Provincial Council has adopted a measure establishing an extraordinary procedure to ascertain the prerequisites for access to the Annual State Examination Course (Capes) reserved for students in possession of the Vocational Technical Diploma in Vocational Education and Training.
   A single extraordinary provincial session, for the year 2023-2024 only, will be held at the ITT Buonarroti of Trento, in via Brigata Acqui n. 15, on 30 August for the Italian test and on 31 August for the mathematics test, to ascertain the prerequisites for access to the Capes. Students who were found to be ineligible in the ordinary sessions, which were held in July 2023, or those who, despite having participated in the sessions, did not attend them, will be able to participate.

    Health service, territorial care: planning act for contracted medicine approved

    On the proposal of the Councillor for Health, Social Policies, Disability and Family Affairs Stefania Segnana, the Provincial Council approved the planning act for territorial assistance, in application of the national collective agreements in force for general practitioners, freely chosen paediatricians, and contracted specialists and outpatient professionals. The planning act will be implemented through the new provincial integrative agreements and is part of the general framework of the reform of the territorial assistance network envisaged by the PNNR and Ministerial Decree no. 77 of 2022 . The act gives indications for strengthening territorial assistance and outlines the new organisational structure for contracted medicine, characterised above all by integration between the various professionals.

    High temperatures, glaciers and high altitude: caution recommended

    High temperatures, as is well known, also have consequences in terms of the stability of glaciers and slopes at high altitudes. This was dramatically recalled by the great tragedy that occurred in Marmolada just over a year ago. For this reason, the Trentino Civil Protection recommends that hikers pay the utmost attention, not venturing for any reason into forbidden areas or unmarked routes.
    In addition to this risk there is also the risk of thunderstorms and lightning: the forecasts indicate the persistence of an area of high pressure, but before setting off, it is advisable to consult the weather report.

    Paganella, health car with nurse will be operational on weekends in December

    The medical car, with a nurse on board, will be operational on the Paganella plateau on weekends in December and during the end-of-year holidays. Trentino Emergenza will provide the nurses, while Croce Bianca Paganella will provide the vehicle and the rescuers. The possible extension of the service to the first months of 2024 and to the following summer period will be evaluated in agreement with Apss, after the experimentation and once the availability of personnel on the part of Trentino Emergenza has been verified. This was confirmed by the Health Councillor Stefania Segnana.
