At the opening of its second edition, the Trentodoc Festival told how even wine, if consumed in moderation and as part of correct lifestyle habits, has positive effects on health. A foodstuff that is an integral part of the Mediterranean diet, along with many other 'champions' of the lifestyle born around Mare Nostrum, such as oil. And here it is, then, this ingredient, a cornerstone not only of the menu but of Mediterranean history, culture and landscape, the protagonist of the event dedicated to bubbles and good living, which as never before has opened up to a dialogue that embraces the entire Boot. Thanks to the talk guests under the frescoed vaults of Romanino's Loggia at Buonconsiglio. From north to south, therefore: Alto Garda with Giada Miori, chef of the La Casina restaurant, the capital and the Centre with Antonio Ziantoni, chef of the Zia restaurant in Rome, and Sicily represented by Joseph Micieli, chef and owner of the Sciabica restaurant in Punta Secca (the village on the Ragusa coast made famous by the Montalbano fiction).
