From the afternoon of today, Thursday 26 October, but especially from the evening and into the next night, widespread rainfall will affect Trentino. Rainfall will cease everywhere during tomorrow morning, when a moderate strengthening of the north winds is expected. Following the Meteotrentino forecasts and based on the assessments made, the Trentino Civil Protection has issued an "ordinary" (yellow) weather alert for hydrogeological risk. Tomorrow, criticalities are considered possible mainly due to: erosion and landslides in the hydrographic network, surface runoff with possible material transport phenomena, flooding, overflows, landslides and rapid flows. These critical situations may cause inconveniences and effects (even interruptions) on the road and railway circulation, as well as on the overhead communication and service distribution networks.
