Over the past two days, an average of 50 - 100 mm of rain has fallen, and locally more, with a maximum of 133 mm at Tremalzo. The snow quota, initially above about 1800 m and locally at lower altitudes, suddenly rose to over 2500 m in the late afternoon yesterday evening and then gradually decreased last night.
After a brief pause yesterday evening, precipitation resumed during the night, albeit discontinuously but locally also in the form of showers or isolated thunderstorms. The snow level gradually decreased to around 1500 - 1700 m or lower, especially on the northern sectors and in the valleys to the west. Scattered and intermittent precipitation will still be possible in the coming hours. From the late morning onwards, the rainfall will subside starting in the west with local and temporary strengthening of the northerly winds. In the next night Meteotrentino predicts a low probability of precipitation with falling temperatures. Between Saturday and Sunday moderate precipitation is likely with the snow quota initially above 1500 m increasing.
