Time schedule respected for the emergency works put in place by the Province to resolve the critical situation on the Gardesana Orientale road where, in order to secure the section threatened by the landslide, metal rockfall barriers have been installed.
The Province's Roads Management Service therefore confirms that traffic will resume regularly with two-way traffic from Monday 13 November at 5.00 a.m., in time to guarantee the passage of local public transport services on the Riva del Garda - Torbole - Malcesine - Brenzone - Torri del Benaco - Garda line and vice versa, according to the ordinary timetable, from early morning.
As far as the Dom tunnel along state road 240 in Loppio and Val di Ledro is concerned, the Roads Management Service informs that work to consolidate the tunnel lining is proceeding according to schedule. In fact, work is being carried out on a continuous cycle over several shifts, so as to guarantee 24-hour-a-day activity, with the aim, barring unforeseen circumstances, of restoring the road connection between Riva del Garda and the Ledro Valley in the morning of Monday, 13 November. It is foreseen to reactivate the one-way traffic circulation by means of traffic lights.
