After this morning's ample clearing, the weather is tending to worsen. Meteotrentino reports that from this afternoon evening and especially in the late evening and into the night, widespread rainfall is expected, even in the form of showers or thunderstorms, which will tend to ease during the morning of tomorrow, Wednesday 6 March. By mid-morning tomorrow, an average of 20 to 40 centimetres or more of snow is expected above about 1500 metres, and lesser amounts at lower altitudes, but, especially in the western sectors, 5 to 25 centimetres of snow may also fall at altitudes close to or below 1000 metres.
