Last July, Borgo Valsugana hosted the 24th edition of the CTIF International Competition for trainee firefighters. It was an event that attracted 768 girls and boys, aged between 10 and 16, divided into 70 teams and coming from no less than 22 countries, to Valsugana to compete in some selective athletic and skill tests related to the activity of the Fire Brigade. It was a competitive event, but one that also allowed participants to compare themselves with their peers with whom they share the commitment of student firefighters. Yesterday evening in Spera (Castel Ivano), at the 'Urban Park', a convivial evening was held, organised by the Competition's Organising Committee, to review the highlights of the event and award certificates of participation to the students who competed and to a representative of the associations that collaborated in the organisation and management of the July event.
