"A document that contributes to transport safety, which is also fundamental for Trentino in an area where there are significant flows. Investing in safety is confirmed as a priority. It is therefore important that there is unity of intent on this point": this was the comment made by the provincial councillor for craftsmanship, commerce, tourism, forestry, hunting and fishing, Roberto Failoni, who signed, on behalf of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the protocol of understanding "Lake Garda Navigation Safety Service". The signing took place on Monday, 29 July in Desenzano. The document was also signed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini, the Lombardy Region, the Veneto Region, the Garda Community, and the Garda and Idro Lake Basin Authority. The protocol concerns the performance of emergency, rescue and surveillance services for nautical users on Lake Garda, also with regard to pleasure boating and navigation safety police.
