Prevention works and compensation for farmers damaged by large carnivores were the focus of this afternoon's discussion with the provincial councillor for forests, Roberto Failoni. "We had a frank dialogue, based on the desire to manage the presence of bears and wolves in our territory with ever greater care and sensitivity. The objective is to support the primary sector with the traditional activity of animal husbandry, which is fundamental for the care of our territory,' said the councillor, flanked by the director of the Fauna Service, Alessandro Brugnoli. "Our commitment is to apply all the necessary management measures to protect public safety and to support the farming world through prevention and compensation for damage caused by large carnivores," Failoni concluded.
