The Civil Protection, Forestry and Fauna Department has issued an ordinary (yellow) alert that will close at midnight on Saturday 14 September. As a result of the weather and hydraulic forecasts and on the basis of the assessments carried out, critical situations are considered possible, starting from the afternoon of today, Wednesday 11 September, and especially during the coming night, mainly due to flooding and hydrogeological instability, but also to strong gusts of wind, hail, lightning and heavy rainfall in a short period of time. The competent provincial services - with the invaluable support of the volunteer fire brigades - will intensify monitoring activities and will closely follow the evolution of the events. The population is invited to adopt good civil protection rules to guarantee their own safety.
