ASD Volleyball Lizzana celebrated its 50th anniversary today. Starting in the morning, in various gyms in Rovereto (Don Milani - San Giorgio; Fucine - Borgo Sacco; D. Chiesa - Ipia Rovereto; Guella - Halberr Lizzana) organised a tournament with 4 categories (under 12, 13, 14 and 16) and 4 teams per category, involving about 120 athletes at the start of the new season. Numerous clubs were involved, from Trentino and South Tyrol: Asd Bassa Vallagarina, Castel Stenico, C9 Arco-Riva, Laives, Marzola, Teamvolley C8, Volley Team San Giacomo.
In the afternoon, at the outdoor field of the S. Floriano oratory in Lizzana, the prize-giving ceremony for the participating teams took place, with greetings from the authorities. Among the authorities were MP Vanessa Cattoi and municipal councillor Carlo Fait, as well as representatives of the sporting world. For the Province, the councillor for economic development, work, university, research Achille Spinelli spoke.
