Aid granted under the evaluation or negotiation procedure for fixed investments in land, buildings, plant, machinery, equipment, patents and infrastructure

Description

Grants can be applied for for investment projects, both movable and immovable, falling under the following priority initiatives:

  1. REPLACEMENT ACTIVITIES/SUBCENTRES
  2. NEW INITIATIVES/RECONVERSIONS
  3. ENTERPRISE NETWORKS
  4. QUALITY IN THE ENTERPRISE
  5. BUSINESS INNOVATION
  6. DIMENSIONAL GROWTH

Also eligible for aid are investments in ecologically efficient technologies, for the saving and rational use of energy, which aim to: preserve the natural environment, reduce potentially polluting emissions, recover and reuse company waste, etc.

Eligible Expenditure Limits

The minimum amount of the grant application must exceed €300,000.00.
Grant applications are examined according to assessment or negotiation procedures.
Expenditure relating to the investment must normally be incurred after the application has been submitted.

Contribution measure

The maximum contribution may not exceed 30% of the eligible expenditure.

Attenzione!

As from 1 January 2023, new applications are managed by APIAE and no longer by the Confidi.

 

By resolution G.P. no. 526/2023 it was established that as from 25 March 2023 the criteria for granting aid for fixed investments will only apply to applications for contributions with an amount of expenditure in excess of € 300,000.00 (excluding interventions arranged by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a.).

Consequently, applications for grants below these thresholds may be submitted, for certain types of investment, under the criteria for granting aid in the automatic procedure.

Who it's for

The following are eligible
Enterprises, consortia of enterprises, bodies and associations for business activities as well as trade associations.

The application may be submitted by

  • Owner/legal representative of the enterprise
  • Delegate

What to do

Applications for expenditure amounts exceeding Euro 300,000.00 must be submitted to APIAE by certified electronic mail (PEC) only.

The documentation must be signed alternatively

  • with digital signature
  • with handwritten signature, accompanied by an identity document of the signatory

What you need

Documents to be submitted

  • declaration in lieu of certification and affidavit
  • copy of identity document owner/legal representative (in case of proxy or submission via PEC without digital signature)
  • digital signature)
  • proxy for signing and/or sending the application electronically
  • integrated report (including technical-economic-financial report in case of evaluation procedure or including strategic plan and negotiation proposal in case of negotiation procedure)
  • a simple copy of the balance sheets for the last two financial years as shown in the inventory ledger (if they are not already
  • filed with the examining body or with the Commercial Register)
  • a simple copy of the last tax return (only for companies that, in the calendar year preceding the year of application, adopted a different tax regime).
  • submission of the application have adopted a regime different from the ordinary regime)

In the case of movable investments and equipment not included in other property investments

  • plain copy of the estimates of planned expenses
  • plain copy of the duly registered preliminary agreement (in the case of purchase of patents or rights to use technology)

In the case of building works, possibly including real estate installations and the purchase of land

  • project complete with technical report and plans, sections and elevations, if any, signed by a qualified professional registered engineer
  • copy of physically divided house plan
  • technical data sheet
  • estimated metric calculation in detailed form signed by a qualified technician enrolled in the Professional Roll showing the cost and surface area of the land to be purchased (for building works exceeding euro 1,000,000.00)
  • report signed by a qualified technician enrolled in the professional register, in which are accurately
  • description and quantification of the works and/or installations already carried out complete with suitable photographic documentation
  • of the state of the works, from which the date can be seen (only in the case of building works whose start date is
  • prior to the date of submission of the application)

In the case of purchase of buildings or land

  • plain copy of the duly registered sale and purchase agreement
  • technical file
  • technical report, showing the state of conservation complete with plans, sections, map extract and elevations, if any, signed by a qualified registered engineer
  • copy of the physically divided house plan
  • plain copy of the adjudication report (in the case of purchase of real estate from bankruptcy proceedings or forced sales)

In the case of acquisitions by leasing

  • plain copy of the contract proposal showing the original value of the asset and the elements for the determination of the total cost of the transaction

As already highlighted in the communications granting aid, in particular for all invoices relating to applications submitted from 22 April 2023, issued from 1 June 2023, it is mandatory to trace the expenses (affixing of the unique project code - CUP) in accordance with the operational indications provided for by the Resolution of the Provincial Council no. 728 of 23 May 2024. Regularisation is only allowed in the manner provided for therein (in particular electronic integration to the AdE interchange system).

 

Specific consequences are envisaged in the event of non-compliance with the aforementioned operational instructions: if at the outcome of controls/checks during supervision, the invoices/payment slips are found to be without the CUP (even if incorrectly affixed), or without the declaration in lieu of affidavit or verification certificate, or not regularised in accordance with the above-mentioned resolution, they shall not be considered eligible and shall result in the forfeiture of the corresponding portion of the subsidy and the recovery of any sums already paid.
