The industrial strategies of the Dana group were the focus of a meeting between the company's top management and provincial councillor for economic development, work, university and research Achille Spinelli. They discussed the intentions of the group, which announced its plan to sell the so-called 'off-highway business': the branch of the company that produces, among other things, components for earthmoving, agricultural and construction machinery. A sector in which the two plants in Rovereto and Arco are specialised in Trentino. "The meeting was aimed at better understanding the choices of the parent company and the effects these might have on our territory, with a particular focus on the protection of jobs and investments," explained Councillor Spinelli at the end of the discussion, which was also attended by the general manager of the Economic Development, Research and Labour Department Laura Pedron and the general manager of Confindustria Trento Roberto Busato.
