With regard to the news episodes concerning the improper use of an Itea accommodation in the Clarina area, in the city of Trento, the Autonomous Province of Trento, in thanking the police, expresses its utmost determination to deal with situations that could compromise the social function of these places, intended for families and citizens who really need them.
"I applaud the work of the police, to whom we will guarantee all possible support to facilitate control and intervention in situations of this kind, including through greater coordination between institutions, the police and the Itea company," said the provincial councillor for housing and heritage policies Simone Marchiori. "It is our duty to protect the social value of public housing and to act firmly against any abuse that threatens its integrity. To this end, in agreement with Itea, we will deploy all the instruments at our disposal to protect residents, guarantee the correct use of social housing, and prevent the recurrence of episodes linked to illegal activities," Marchiori added.
