    Special Area of Conservation (SAC)

    The site is located on the southernmost edge of the Stivo-Cornetto chain of Monte Bondone. It consists of a south-facing limestone slope in the hilly belt, occupied by wide expanses of arid-steppe meadows interspersed with thickets and hedges. A few plots with traditional crops are present here and there.

    The reserve is included in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and is part of the much larger ZPS Adamello Presanella.

    A wooded area with sedges in the Fazzon locality, in the woods beyond Malga Alta a short distance from the local reserve Lago di Stablo, on the slopes of the Adamello-Presanella massif, municipality of Pellizzano.

    The area is included in the much larger Vermiglio - Folgarida SAC.

    Wet meadow in the immediate vicinity of the buildings of the malga of the same name in Val di Daone, municipality of Valdaone.

    The reserve is included in the much larger Lagorai ZPS.

    A peat bog not far from the buildings of the now abandoned malga of the same name, on the Lusia-Bocche massif, municipality of Moena.

    The area falls within the territory of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park and is included in the much larger Natura 2000 areas ZSC Lagorai Orientale Cima Bocche and ZPS Lagorai, to which we refer you for further information on nature.

    The area is included in the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park territory and in the Lagorai SPA.

    The glacial valley of Santa Maria di Flavona enters from Lake Tovel towards the Brenta massif in a N-S direction, alternating between plateaus and high steps.
    The biotope roughly occupies the area known as 'Sassera Selvata', extending from malga Pozzol (about 1650 metres) to malga Flavona (about 1900 metres).
    The phenomenon of the so-called 'marocche' is present here, extensive to the point of representing one of the largest accumulations in western Trentino.

    The nature reserve comprises three spatially separate and very different areas in terms of the environments present. These are the last surviving "patches" of a very special environmental situation that once existed, much more extensive than today, around the village of Lases and the lake of the same name.

    The Reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation.

    Special Area of Conservation (SAC)

    It comprises three distinct areas in the Cembra Valley.
    - a small valley largely formed by porphyry debris, at the base of which a thermal inversion phenomenon is observed, so that even in the summer months ice may be present in some holes in the ground (ice holes)
    - a basin, also formed in the porphyries, with a transition peat bog;
    - the eastern bend of Lake Lases, with extensive magnocaricolous and reed beds.

    The nature reserve coincides with a vast wetland area that occupies almost the entire valley floor of the Val Lomasone, a glacial valley opening onto the Campo Lomaso plain. The landscape is essentially natural, little modified by man, and the peat bog, with its considerable extension, is of enormous value.

    The Reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation and is located near the local Lomasona and Pozza del Prete Reserves. It is one of the protected areas that make up the Sarca River Park.

    A peat bog in Val Lomasona, municipality of Comano Terme, located a short distance from the Lomasona Provincial Nature Reserve and the Torbiera Lomasona SAC, to which we refer for further information on nature.

    The reserve is one of the protected areas that make up the Sarca River Park.

    Wetlands characterised by turficolous species that are today in regression. An interesting area known for its considerable migratory flow, testified by the intense hunting activity in progress and the presence of bird hunting posts (practised until the 1950s).
    Reproductive habitat for Rana Temporaria and occasionally Triturus alpestris.

    The Graves

    This nature reserve comprises two extremely different environmental types: a wetland and an arid zone, located respectively at the foot and on the flanks of a small relief indicated on topographic maps as 'Doss Le Grave'.

    The Reserve is part of the larger Special Area of Conservation "Monte Barco - Le Grave".
