Research Infrastructures (IR)
Below is a list of the Research Infrastructures (IR), already described in the profiles of the various bodies that make up the Trentino research and innovation system.
These Research Infrastructures, which can be traced back to laboratories or facilities with a high scientific and technological profile, represent incubators of scientific and technological knowledge and nuclei of aggregation between the worlds of research and enterprise:
- MNF (Micro-Nano Characterization and Fabrication Facility or clean room), within the FBK Foundation dedicated to micro/nanotechnologies
- FRUITOMICS, at the FEM Foundation, which concentrates various high-tech platforms for use in the agri-food and environmental sectors
- ProM Facility of Trentino Sviluppo, within the Mechatronics hub in Rovereto, dedicated to mechatronic prototyping
- IRBIO (Research Infrastructure for Integrated Biology of the University of Trento), based at the Centre for Integrated Biology (CIBIO), dedicated to biotechnology for human health or red biotechnology
- LFP (Laboratory for Proton Beams) at the Proton Therapy Centre of the Azienda Provinciale per i Servizi Sanitari(APSS), dedicated to experiments in the field of radiotherapy.
