Cableways
The 227 lifts in Trentino allow summer and winter use of the mountains, facilitating connections between Alpine valleys and promoting sustainable forms of mobility.
The "Servizio impianti a fune e fondo comuni confinanti" is the provincial structure responsible for aspects related to the concession, operation and technical supervision of the Province's installations.
Within the service operates the "Ropeway Installations Technological Laboratory" LATIF, which is the only national laboratory specialised in all types of tests applied on ropeway elements. Latif actively collaborates with the competent sector of the Ministry of Transport and performs tests for the technical sectors within the Administration and on behalf of third parties.
