Workshop Identification Code Question

Each accredited workshop is assigned a mechanographic identification code by the Civil Motor Vehicle Bureau. This code consists of 6 alphanumeric characters: the first two bear the initials of the province where the workshop is located.

For each modification carried out, the workshop issues a declaration that the work has been carried out in a workmanlike manner and records, in progressive order, on a special register, with numbered pages and previously stamped by the Civil Vehicle Registration Office, the vehicle's registration plate number and chassis number, the holder's name, the type of modification and the date on which the modification was made.

Technical data update of the vehicle registration document without inspection

• Fill in the documentation in the 'documentation to be submitted' section and send it by pec to: motorizzazione.civile@pec.provincia.tn.it;
• wait for a communication forwarding the workshop identification code;
• prepare the Register of Work Declarations to be stamped at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency's Revisions Counter;
• make an appointment via the "Digital Channels" section below to endorse the register;
• endorsement of the register, which must be completed each time an update of the registration certificate is carried out without a test.
