Withdrawal of recognition of the tourist product label

Description

The Provincial Council recognises product brands that are of strategic importance or for which a significant diffusion is expected. In particular, the following may be recognised by the Provincial Council a) provincial or sub-provincial brands that associate hotel or non-hotel establishments operating in the provincial territory in a number suitable to represent the specific type of offer; b) inter-regional or international brands that associate hotel or non-hotel operators located in the provincial territory with operators from neighbouring tourist areas or with similar characteristics, and that include a total number of hotel or non-hotel establishments located in the provincial territory that is not less than that established by the implementing regulations (DPP 28-149/Leg. - 2003). The Provincial Council revokes the recognition of the mark in the following cases: a) failure to comply, for more than twelve consecutive months, with the minimum number of provincial accommodation establishments adhering; b) transformation or modification of the mark and relative specifications without prior recognition by the Provincial Council; c) failure to exclude accommodation establishments no longer meeting the requirements for adhesion; d) failure to award the mark or unjustified exclusion of accommodation establishments meeting the requirements for adhesion.
