Wine tourism operators, extraordinary contributions

How to apply for the extraordinary contributions to support and relaunch the Trentino wine-growing and wine tourism sector, provided for by Article 13.1 of Provincial Law no. 3 of 13 May 2020

Description

These facilities cover the following types of investment

  • structural interventions and other interventions for the expansion, modernisation, redevelopment and relaunch of the activity and the reorganisation of the spaces intended for wine tourism activities;
  • environmental, energy and technological upgrading of the building and appurtenant areas: façade fittings, car parks, landscaping or creation of outdoor areas, investment in renewable energy sources for the company's needs
  • interventions for the relaunch of wine tourism activities (consultancy expenses, expenses for the study and production of information and promotional material with relative support, including technological support, expenses for equipment for vineyard visits, etc.).

General expenses linked to eligible costs are eligible up to a maximum of 12% of eligible expenses on works.

Restrictions

Applications must be submitted by 15 November 2021.

It is compulsory to take out an insurance policy covering fire and disaster damages for investments exceeding 25,000 Euro; the applicant shall maintain the insurance coverage for a minimum duration of 10 years starting from the year in which the application is submitted. In the event of non-compliance with this obligation, the grant shall be revoked and the sums recovered, increased by the legal interest rate in force, in proportion to the period of non-compliance.

The application may be submitted by the beneficiary or by the person (consultant) authorised to enter the application in the SRTrento portal

What to do

Applications must be submitted using the computerised procedures made available to users on the https://srt.infotn.it portal.

The applicant must have a digital signature.
The applicant or consultant entering the application must be in possession of portal access credentials, as specified at https://srt.infotn.it/HomePage.aspx.

Special cases

Firms that were already in difficulty on 31 December 2019 (as defined in Article 2(18) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 - General Block Exemption Regulation) may not apply, with the exception of micro-enterprises or small enterprises (within the meaning of Annex I to the General Block Exemption Regulation) that were already in difficulty on 31 December 2019, provided that they are not the subject of bankruptcy proceedings by virtue of their insolvency.

The application must be accompanied by

  1. in the case of works subject to building regulations, a technical report signed by the authorised technician and relevant design drawings;
  2. detailed estimates for furniture, equipment and installations, signed by the supplier;
  3. only for initiatives that include works, a table signed by a qualified technician, using the facsimile prepared by the Agricultural Service, with a breakdown of expenditure between purchases of furniture and equipment and other investments and between the types, as well as with a breakdown by macro item
  4. in the case of works on third party property, a simple copy of the registered contract of availability of the land and/or facilities, accompanied by the authorisation of the owner to carry out the works, except in the case of the existence of a family business pursuant to Article 230 bis of the Civil Code
  5. in the event that the planning measure also includes initiatives that are not the subject of the application and if the work has begun, a declaration by the works manager certifying the state of progress, accompanied by photographs and indicating the date on which the work was taken.

Timeframes and deadlines

65 days

Maximum no. of waiting days

20 days for approval of the ranking list and 45 days for granting or refusal. The 45 days run from the date of approval of the ranking list. The grant or rejection of the contribution will in any case take place by 31 December 2021.

Within 20 days from the expiry of the deadline for the submission of applications, a merit list is approved by a determination of the manager on the basis of scores assigned according to priority criteria in the attached document

For the final payment of the grant the beneficiary shall submit an application through the SRTrento portal.

For initiatives comprising works or works and purchases of furniture and equipment, the initiatives must be accounted for within 24 months from the date of the measure granting the contribution.
For initiatives comprising only the purchase of furniture and equipment, accounts must be submitted within 18 months from the date of the grant award decision.
