Request for data on bombings carried out by the Allies during the Second World War and extracted from the UXB-Trentino project database

Description

The study provided is based on the results of the UXB-Trentino project, relating only to the Second World War, analysed using software for georeferenced management and analysis of archive data (consisting of bombing reports and available period photographs of aerial reconnaissance).

The analysis of the risk of unexploded bombs, pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 8 of 9 April 2008, is the responsibility of the designer or the safety coordinator in the design phase, where present, who will have to assess the need for any clearance on the basis of information relative to the use of the territory in the years from the post-war period to date and the type of work to be carried out.

The study provided is intended only as a valid support for technicians, remembering however to refer also to the risk cartography freely available online, since it also shows the craters relating to the unplanned Allied releases.
