Traineeship at the European Union Relations Office in Brussels

The traineeship aims to:

1. deepen knowledge of the institutions and bodies of the European Union and how they operate
2. provide a general overview of the relations of the Provincial Administration with the Institutions and Bodies of the European Union
3. provide an in-depth study of European Union policies and programmes of relevance to the Autonomous Province of Trento and to Trentino's local authorities.

Each traineeship lasts six months and is carried out in the following periods

1. from 1 April to 30 September
2. from 1 October to 31 March.

Each trainee is awarded a total scholarship of €6,000.00 (six thousand) gross of withholding taxes. The awarding of the scholarship is subject to at least 85% attendance and a positive evaluation of the activity carried out.

Applications must be submitted

15 April to 15 May 2025 for the internship period from 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026

The following persons may apply to take part in the selection, on pain of exclusion, if they meet the following requirements on the closing date for applications

1. nationality of a Member State of the European Union
2. age not exceeding 30 years
3. residence in the province of Trento;
4. a three-year degree from any university institute, Italian or foreign;
5. command of the Italian language and good knowledge of English.

A copy of a valid identity document must be attached to the application.

The application must also be accompanied by a letter of motivation, drafted in English, in which the candidate illustrates the reasons that prompted him/her to apply.

In the case of academic qualifications obtained abroad, the candidate must - under penalty of exclusion - attach to the application a copy of the order(s) ascertaining the completion of the procedure for the acquisition of the qualifications and the equivalence/recognition with the corresponding Italian qualifications, pursuant to art. 38, par. 3, Legislative Decree 165/2001.
