Description
Article 102b of Provincial Law No. 21 of 13 November 1992 (Disciplina degli interventi provinciali in materia di edilizia abitativa), identifies 'Extraordinary measures to support families for the repayment of subsidised home loans'.
In particular, the Province promotes the suspension of the payment of subsidised home mortgage instalments for a period not exceeding 18 months (3 six-monthly instalments). The suspension results in the repayment plan being shifted for a similar period (the repayment plan is lengthened). The suspension with translation is also permitted in the years 2025, 2026 and 2027.
The suspension of the instalment payment must be requested from the bank before the instalment is due.
The borrower may ask the lending bank to suspend the payment of the principal portion of the instalment for a maximum of three instalments.
It remains the responsibility of the borrower to pay the full interest portion of the suspended instalments as the grant is suspended. Disbursement of the contribution resumes when the suspension is terminated.
