Description
The supplementary contribution is a public intervention provided for by the provincial law no. 15 of 7 November 2005 and aimed at reducing part of the rental fee for accommodation rented on the open market. It is granted by the Comunità di Valle and the Territorio Val d'Adige (Municipality of Trento) to households meeting the legal requirements and holding a regular rental contract.
The supplementary contribution is calculated taking into account the economic and financial condition (ICEF) and the composition of the household.
The amount of the contribution is between a minimum of € 40.00 and a maximum of € 300.00 per month, in any case it cannot exceed 50% of the monthly rent of the rental contract.
The contribution is granted for a maximum duration of 12 months on the basis of the annual rankings approved by the local authorities and the financial resources available.
Subject to the submission of a new application, it may be renewed for a further 12 months. There is a one-year interruption after the grant for two consecutive periods.
Weak persons' (persons over 65 years old; persons with an ascertained degree of disability equal to or greater than 75%, or with ascertained difficulty in performing the daily acts of life or with ascertained difficulty in performing the tasks and functions proper to age) or persons who are in a situation of serious economic or social difficulty, related to housing needs, assessed by the competent territorial authority which certifies the proven inability to independently resolve the hardship.
