Silver Card Trentino - C.a.T.

The Carta argento Trentino (C.a.T.) is a one-off economic support granted to households benefiting, on 1 January 2026, from Quota A and having all members aged 65 or over.

The Card allows the beneficiary household to make purchases of goods at accredited merchants (grocery shops and pharmacies in the province).

Amount of support

The C.a.T. entitles the beneficiary to a one-off support of a maximum value of 3,600.00 euro, to be used by 30 June 2027. Purchases from accredited merchants can be made, also in cumulative form: there is a maximum limit of 150.00 euro per transaction.

• Family units that, on 1 January 2026, have the following requirements
  - are beneficiaries of the A share of the provincial Single Allowance (AUP)
  - have all members aged 65 or over.
  
• Merchants (grocery shops and pharmacies in the province) who qualify. Accreditable merchants include:
  A) grocery shops, supermarkets, convenience stores, as well as other commercial activities with activities falling under at least one of the following ATECO codes: 47.11, 47.21,47.22, 47.23, 47.24;
  B) pharmacies and parapharmacies with activities falling under at least one of the following ATECO codes: 47.73.10, 47.73.20.
  They must also
  - not be in any of the conditions set out in Articles 94 and 95 of Legislative Decree 36/2023;
  - have at least one operating office in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Trento.

• Households benefiting from the Card that meet the requirements will receive a communication from the Provincial Agency for Supplementary Assistance and Welfare (APAPI) of the Autonomous Province of Trento in April 2026, with the automatic allocation of the card, which will also contain the information necessary to proceed with collection.

• Shopkeepers interested in participating in the initiative may accredit themselves through the appropriate IT platform by means of SPID or CIE identification of the legal representative or of a person specifically delegated by him/her.

• The beneficiary will receive a communication indicating the documentation to be submitted when collecting the Card.
  
• Themerchant must submit an application for accreditation for inclusion in the List, together with the attachments, exclusively through the use of the dedicated IT platform. The application is subject to a stamp duty of EUR 16.00 (except for exemptions).
