Description
The Provincial Council, with Resolution no. 483 dated 12/04/2024 , approved the criteria for the homogeneous and uniform implementation throughout the provincial territory of the provisions contained in Articles 9 bis and 9 ter of Chapter II bis, concerning the social housing of persons with disabilities (Provincial Law no. 8 dated 10 September 2003).
Social housing is implemented through two specific projects :
1. paths of experimentation of one's personal abilities and autonomy and approach to living independently;
2. development of forms of cohabitation and sharing a life project with other people.
The social housing project is drawn up by the competent local authorities and has the disabled person as its protagonist.
In order to be able to access a social housing project, it is necessary to submit an application to the local office in charge of social policies of the reference Community/Territory, in relation to the applicant's residence. Applications are processed in chronological order of submission.
The eligibility requirements are
- Age of majority
- Residence in the Province of Trento
- Recognised civil invalidity of no less than 46%.
Access is also subject to the following conditions: assessment of suitability and acceptance by the competent Social Service.
