Description
The collaborator will be mainly involved in the on-site operational coordination of TERRA, a three-year international cooperation project aimed at promoting a conscious and sustainable management of solid urban waste in the city of Beira (Mozambique), through a partnership between public bodies, universities and private sector actors: University of Trento, Municipality of Beira (Mozambique), Zambeze University (Mozambique), Consortium Associations with Mozambique ETS (CAM) and Bio Energia Trentino srl.
The selected figure will be responsible for coordinating the project activities in the field, taking care independently of the planning, implementation and monitoring of the planned actions, in constant liaison with the lead partner (PAT) and with local and international partners.
The contract is for self-employment for an expected duration of 24 months with the possibility of renewal until the operational and/or administrative conclusion of the project (for a maximum of a further 12 months). The service envisages the presence in Mozambique, in the city of Beira, for a minimum of 5 months per year, of which 3 months continuous and 2 months divisible, at the CAM headquarters (NGO partner on site). For the remaining period, the location of the activity will be agreed upon between the parties, including the possibility of working at the offices of the PAT's International Partnerships and Interventions Abroad Office, in Trento.
If the selected candidate is already resident in Mozambique, the work may be carried out entirely in the country, without the need to be present at the Trento office.
