Description

The Rural Development Programme (RDP) is an instrument desired by the European Union to financially support interventions in the agricultural, forestry and environmental fields.
The Autonomous Province of Trento is an active participant in this project, and the Sustainable Development and Protected Areas Service is the body delegated to take care of practices in the environmental sector. The eligible interventions concern ecological connectivity, the safeguarding of biodiversity, the landscape and the public enjoyment of natural assets.

Operation 7.5.1 finances investments for public enjoyment in recreational infrastructure and tourist information.

Objectives

  • realising, improving and extending small-scale recreational and tourist infrastructures
  • encouraging diversification of the tourist use of protected areas, mitigating possible damage to habitats - channelling the tourist offer, through a more effective information activity on environmental behaviour and values

Who it's for

Beneficiaries are Natura 2000 management bodies, lead bodies of Networks of Reserves, other protected area managers, municipalities and other public bodies.

Call for proposals 2023: The amount of the budget is Euro 145,544.38. Deadline for submission of applications: from 30/01/2023 until 17/02/2023 at 12:00.

Call for proposals 2022: the amount of the budget is euro 452,663.10. Deadline for submission of applications: from 01/08/2022 until 30/09/2022 at 12:00.
