For mountain huts and bivouacs, the procedure comprises the following steps
- technical preliminary investigation
- opinion of the Provincial Conference for Alpine Structures
- determination by the Director of inclusion in the list of alpine structures or rejection of the application.
For alpine routes the procedure provides for the following phases
- technical preliminary investigation
- possible opinion of the Provincial Conference for mountaineering facilities
- determination by the Director of inclusion in the list of alpine facilities or rejection of the application.
If the deadline is exceeded, the applicant may appeal to the Director General of the Department of Crafts, Commerce, Promotion, Sport and Tourism. Alternatively, he may appeal to the Regional Court of Administrative Justice or to the Civil Court.
In the event of a negative outcome, without prejudice to the possibility of appealing to the competent jurisdictional authority depending on the flaws raised, it is possible to appeal to the President of the Republic within 120 days from the notification of the measure.
