Quarries: exercise of the activity - forms

The activity is subject to the granting of authorisation/permit by the municipality after obtaining the opinion of the Interdisciplinary Technical Committee for Quarries.
The opinion also includes any measures within the competence of the provincial sub-committee for town planning and landscape, the technical forestry committee or the provincial structure responsible for forestry matters.

Companies

The applicant submits the form with the attached documentation to the Municipality, which, within 15 days, sends it to the Research and Mining Service for forwarding to the Interdisciplinary Technical Committee for Quarries.

The Committee gives its opinion within the next 90 days and the Municipality issues the authorisation within the next 30 days.
Prior to the granting of the concession/authorisation, the operator shall lend the Municipality a surety guaranteeing the correct execution of the project for the final settlement of the area. When the mining permit is issued, the operator signs the "quarry specification" (depending on the material extracted and the type of land ownership), and submits the "quarry operating report".
