Provincial list of gatherers of wild medicinal plants

In order to be registered on the provincial list of gatherers of wild medicinal plants, it is necessary to have attended a special training course and to have passed the aptitude test laid down in the regulations (D.G.p. n. 204 of 13 February 2026).

Those on the aforementioned list may be authorised to collect wild flora, by way of derogation from the quantitative limits laid down by the provincial regulations, for scientific, didactic, food, pharmaceutical and officinal purposes.

To apply, you must have passed the aptitude test provided for in the regulations (G.p.D. no. 204 of 13 February 2026)

Interested parties must meet the following requirements

• be over 18 years of age
• be resident or in any case born in the Province of Trento, or own farm structures related to the cultivation or processing of medicinal plants located in the province, even if not resident in a municipality of the Province of Trento
• have a certificate of attendance and passing a special training course organised by the Province of Trento. A certificate of attendance and passing a training course organised by other regions is also recognised, provided it has the same minimum content.
