Provincial energy bonus 2022 - autonomous application

The following areNOT independently eligible for the Provincial Energy Bonus 2022

• beneficiaries of the Provincial Energy Bonus 2022 on an automatic basis, i.e. by means of a direct discount in the bill;
• subjects excluded from receiving the Provincial Energy Bonus 2022 automatically, as a result of the checks already carried out by the Provincial Administration on the data transmitted by the energy operators or on data already in the possession of the Provincial Administration. In particular, the checks concerned the verification of the possession of general requirements (see above).

The autonomous application for the Provincial Energy Bonus 2022 is reserved for holders of domestic electricity users of the "resident" type, with committed power up to 6.6 kw and with a supply contract valid on 1 December 2022(or later if admitted), subject to submission of a specific declaration in lieu of affidavit. The bonus is granted in cases in which

1. the supply contract has been stipulated with economic operators who have not adhered to the Province's accreditation, required for the disbursement of the Provincial Energy Bonus 2022 automatically, i.e. by means of a discount on the bill
2. the owner of the utility, although belonging to suppliers who adhered to the Province's accreditation, was excluded from the disbursement of the Provincial Energy Bonus 2022 automatically, due to the impossibility of verifying the income data referring to the year 2020
3. the utility was activated after the date of 1 December 2022, provided that the following requirements are jointly met
   • the activation derives from the turning over of a previous contract for the supply of electricity for domestic use of the "resident" type with a committed power of up to 6.6 kw active on 1 December 2022 in the hands of a deceased person
   • the new holder of the electricity utility was on 1 December 2022 a resident of the place where the POD of the electricity utility he took over is located;
4. the holder of the electricity utility communicated after 1 December 2022 to its supplier a new tax code to replace a previous incorrect one.

In cases 3 and 4, holders of electricity utilities belonging both to economic operators that have been accredited by the Province and to economic operators that have not adhered to the accreditation proposal are eligible.

In any case, the holder of the electricity utility must meet the following general requirements

• have achieved in 2020 a total gross income for IRPEF purposes of less than or equal to 50,000 euro;
• not to have been identified as a beneficiary for 2022 of the increase of the B1) share of the Provincial Single Allowance, as introduced by the Resolution of the Provincial Council no. 1375 dated 29 July 2022
• not to have been the beneficiary of other measures adopted by the entities belonging to the so-called Provincial System aimed at mitigating the negative effects connected to the payment of the integrated water, electricity and gas service;
• not being the holder, as at 1 December 2022, of more than one electricity supply contract with the characteristics to benefit from the Provincial Electricity Bonus 2022.

The form must be accompanied, under penalty of exclusion, by a copy of the electricity bill/invoice, registered in the name of the declarant and certifying the consumption as of 1 December 2022. The same bill must clearly show the header data and the specifications for use of the supply as well as the fact that it relates to energy consumption on 1 December 2022.

In special cases of taking over a deceased person, the request must be accompanied by

• copy of the electricity bill/invoice certifying consumption on 1 December 2022 in the name of the deceased party
• copy of the formal turning over of the electricity supply contract in the name of the declaring party, in order to clearly show that it is the same POD.

In the case of entities that have formally communicated changes in the tax code to the electricity supplier after 1 December 2022, the request must be accompanied by

• copy of the electricity bill/invoice certifying consumption on 1 December 2022
• copy of the formal modification of the electricity supply contract of the requesting party, in order to give clear evidence that it is the same POD.
