Preschool Management Committee Elections 2025/2028

A Management Committee is established at each pre-school. It has a three-year term of office and is made up of representatives of: teaching staff, non-teaching staff, representatives of the municipality, representatives of the parents (in equivalent pre-schools, also a representative of the relevant managing body).

Being part of the component for which you intend to stand and/or vote

Preschool teachers, parents, non-teaching staff

The application may be submitted by:

• permanent teaching staff, temporary teaching staff employed with a contract until the end of June or, only in schools with a special or tourist calendar, with a contract until the end of May
• permanent teaching staff with a provisional assignment in a school, have active and passive voting rights in that school and not in the school where they are tenured
• non-permanent and temporary non-teaching staff assigned to places in the annual nursery school programme
• both parents of children duly enrolled and attending the school for which the elections are being held on the date the lists are drawn up, or the persons exercising parental responsibility over the child

An online application and e-voting system is used, which is accessed via the Sistema Pubblico di Identità Digitale (SPID), the Carta d'Identità Elettronica (CIE) or via CPS/CNS (Carta provinciale dei servizi/Carta nazionale dei servizi)

Once voting has closed, the Pedagogical Coordinator/Reader of the relevant management body proclaims those elected within 5 days, notifying each person elected by email. The results of the elections are also published on the printed notice board of each pre-school for 15 days by the 5th day after the close of voting.
